In my 30's I was the athletic type and never worried about my weight. Once I had 2 children and became less active over the years my weight crept up to 190 lbs. It wasn't until I had a health scare in 2013 that I decided to make a change. Since then, I have been following a "mostly" vegan diet (...cheese is still my weakness!) and exercising regularly, I lost 40 lbs. In making these lifestyle changes it inspired me to make a career change and become a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Therapist.
My passion for helping and coaching people on how to achieve their professional and personal goals has made it an easy transition into the health and fitness industry only to further drive my passion.
As a breast cancer survivor now in my 50's, along with having a young daughter with Type 1 Diabetes, I know first-hand the importance of a healthy diet and following a fitness regimen to achieve optimum health.
I am truly dedicated in helping my clients reach their fitness and nutrition goals in a healthy professional manner in order to maintain a life-time of loving their bodies inside and out!
